In addition to the continuous requirements for food and cleaning supplies, the school and day care center, which cares for 26 children ranging from newborns to 6-year-olds, has ongoing needs to ensure a nurturing environment for these young learners.Â
PRC Foundation is making a positive impact in the community by providing a safe and engaging outlet for children, keeping them off the streets and focused on a positive activity- playing soccer on a nearby field.

Who we are?
Palm Ridge Caring Foundations (PRC Foundation) is an NPO in the Katlehong area, registered with the Department of Social Development with a Section 18A SARS approved PBO.
Our mission is to combat poverty, proving access to education and vital resources, and enhancing the wellbeing of children from disadvantaged families, ranging from newborn to 18 years old. PRC Foundation is a Level One, with 100% Black Beneficiaries.
Our organization is dedicated to transform lives through a holistic approach, focusing on three key areas: Early Childhood Development, Social upliftment, and Youth Development Programs, all underpinned by a strong emphasis on health, wellness, and nutrition to foster resilient and thriving individuals . PRC Foundation is committed to empowering young individuals by providing a supportive framework that fosters skills development, education and employment opportunities ultimately paving a clear path to successful careers and brighter futures.
We proactively seek out and identify impactful Social Economic Development (SED) projects within the local communities we serve. We currently supporting an underprivileged creche with disabled children and an underprivileged Pre- school and a Primary School in Palm Ridge Katlehong.
We are actively seeking sponsorships for these institutions. Additionally, we assist disadvantaged families in the community with food, clothing, and schooling support.
We have assumed responsibility for 2 orphanages, The orphanage in Durban, houses and takes care of 60 orphaned children aged from 4 years to 16 years old, as well as an orphanage in Palm Ridge The Zainab Foundation , that houses and takes care of 27 vulnerable children between the ages of 2 years to 19 years old.
